TCA Peels

Environs TCA peels are a Cool, Controlled and Comfortable way to approach issues like pigmentation, rosacea, acne, pigmentation and scarred skin. TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) , though a chemical peel, is low percentage of acid (5% and under) combined with a low pH offering minimal downtime and a much safer treatment.
This unique approach is a non-invasive intelligent skin peeling system developed by Dr. Des Fernandes to safely and effectively help refine, revive and brighten the skin.
How does it work?
‘The peel that doesn’t peel’ – The TCA acid works to stress the keratinocytes in the skin just enough without killing them in order to stimulate the cells to release various growth factors, without stripping the skin’s natural barrier or causing irritation, allowing for minimal downtime (you may expect to see some dryness or flakiness a few days after but this is manageable and to be expected for some). These growth factors plump and rejuvenate skin, promoting new collagen and elastin production. The result? A youthful, thicker, healthier, tighter and smoother-looking skin.
We recommend a course of 6 peel treatments for optimal results and all our TCA peels include complimentary LED phototherapy.
